Teaching for 8 years

Hi! I'm Teacher Binky. My teaching journey began in 2011 at a progressive preschool in the Philippines. It was there that I fell in love with the spirit of play and curiosity. After a few years in the classroom, I decided to pursue my dreams of obtaining a Master's Degree and living in NewYork. And so, in 2014, I relocated to study Early Childhood Special Education at Hunter College New York City. I went on to teach Kindergarten at a private school on the Upper East Side before moving back to the Philippines in 2018. Since then, I've taught preschool and Kindergarten. I've become a Learning Support Specialist, and I've learned to navigate the nuances of teaching online. At present, I continue to pursue education related projects while navigating the quirks of being a first-time, full-time mom.
